A former schoolhouse, reimagined.

Built in 1870 and later moved to this site, this Amesbury home had a rich history and room for a new chapter. Upstairs, two unused finished rooms had no plumbing.

We rebuilt and reframed where needed, creating three upstairs bedrooms, two new bathrooms, and walk-in closets—including a larger primary bathroom. The completed home has three bathrooms in total.

“Eric was the seller broker on our new home. The property originally built in 1870 and needed extensive work. At one point it was believed to be a one room schoolhouse, since then it had many owners. Over the years it was left in poor shape. Eric over saw the work on this home and was also the seller broker. The house is currently a work of art. They were able to save the floors and the front door and the original size of the windows and they took the rest down to the studs. The result was a historic home with all new modern conveniences. It is truly a work of art.

Eric worked with our buyer broker to answer any questions that came up during the purchase. He promptly answered questions as they came up regarding information that he had for further services or quotes for the house. He provided information on locksmiths, storm doors, fences and paint colors. He was a pleasure to work with and is still responsive to any questions about the house 6 months after the sale.
